Toon App: solarPanel ---> solar data without hardware

created an account just to say thanks and ask someting:

I own a hoymiles inverter and got myself the DTU-WLite-S USB DTU
it did work well and Toon shows my data from the s-miles cloud.

3 days ago it stopped working.
trying to log in to the website, it said "the numer of logins exceeds the daily maximum limit"

I opened a ticket with hoymiles and they claim "500 per day is the maximum logins"

Thank you for your message. I just check this information with our product engineer. This problem is that we have a limitation of loading at 500 times. So if you set the system polls the DTU at around 5 min, the system could be available.
The DTU should connect to the internet to get the data and transfer the data to the cloud.

I read in the forum that you poll every 5 minutes.. can I adjust this somewhere? could it be that there was a change?

5 minuten is de interval waarop de database van de toon loopt dus onhandig om een andere interval te nemen. Met 5 minuten zit je op 288 polls per dag. Zou dus zeker goed moeten gaan tenzij je meerdere systemen hebt.

Dank hiervoor. Ik vond het ook vreemd dat het gewoon twee maanden lang heeft gewerkt en opeens niet meer...
Ik heb een ticket bij hoymiles geopend en ze vragen om meer details van de poller.
Is het mogelijk deze data te krijgen?
Is het gewoon een API call?

Thank you for your reply. I just got the feedback from the platform teams. The core code of the system you used is based on the crawler to visit our platform and get the data. And a possible solution is the system developer to add the cache to save the token. Then you can use this kind of system normally.

voor mij hebben ze het limiet nu verhoogd, gezien de combinatie van a) toon, b) mobiele app en c) website login gewoon meerdere keer al de dagelijkse limiet van 500 keer heeft getriggert.

ik breng jullie graag in contact als dat helpt?

I updated the solar Panel; app yesterday (saturday 20-1-2024), but since then Solar production in days shows my panels produced 7418 kWh in one (that) day.
If that only were true... In reality this amount seems to matches my total production in the past (2) years.
How can I correct this or delete (just) that day's data?
By the way, it's a Growatt converter.

So what you can do to modify:

1. get the ip adress of the toon and where x.x.x.x below, use your ipadress
2. identify the wron times and values in the hours table (epoch time, value) from:

3. correct this data by setting new values piece by piece (replace YYYYYYYY with the time in EPOCH and ZZZZZZZZZZ the new value:

4. do the same for the days table:

5. correct the days:

Oeps... It;s still reading the total lifetime energy produced and writing it as my hourly / today's production.
I also seem to be missing today's hours now and it's showing an EPOCH value in the future(?)

Strange, the total value should be the correct value. That is how it has been programmed. Did you switch from method from hardware to software?

No, I did not change any settings, just upgraded the app...
I don't have any (Toon) hardware monitoring and/or "Toon Zon" installed

Shouldn't it not be showing this (future) timestamp at all (yet)?
