Hi,
I have an OpenTherm Gateway from NodoShop between my heater (Elco Thision 9)
And installed a QAA72 thermostat/controller.
I also have a Raspberry Pi 4 with Home Assistant.
In Home Assistant I activated the Opentherm integration.
Also the Otmonitor add-on.
So far I've only monitored temperatures with it.
The heating was always controlled via the QAA72.
When I had changed the WW target value in the Otmonitor under Configuration / Heating as a test, the timer of the QAA72 no longer worked. A temperature change at the QAA72 IS also recorded, but no longer passed on to the heating.
Can someone tell me how to undo this?
Thanks in advance

Hot Water setpoint configure question

Re: Hot Water setpoint configure question
The OTGW will forget the value you have set with the SW command when you send SW=0.
I hope that answers your question, because the pictures you provided are way too small to make out anything. Even if I enlarge them, they only show blurred text. For logs it's always better to provide them as text instead of an image anyway.
I also have no idea what you mean by "the timer of the QAA72 no longer worked". What timer are you referring to?

Hi,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
sorry for the pictures I just noticed that an error occurred while uploading.
Do I understand correctly that under Configuration / Heating I simply set the WW setpoint to 0°C
Do you have to make the OTGW forget the previous value?
With QAA73 (not 72) I meant the original thermostat of the heater.
In this you can program switching times for the hot water.
Thanks in advance

Re: Hot Water setpoint configure question
You cannot move the DHW setpoint slider all the way to 0. So you may have to run the SW=0 command as a free format command on the miscellaneous tab.
As long as the OTGW has a DHW setpoint, it will substitute it whenever the thermostat sends MsgID 56. To pass the values from the thermostat to the boiler again, the DHW setpoint in the OTGW must be cleared.
How did you come by a German version of OTmonitor? I purposely made it in English only, to avoid confusion. Like someone referring to DHW as WW.

Hi,
Super thank you !!!
It worked via Miscellaneous tab.
This is not a German version of the OTGW.
I have an add-on in my browser that always translates the page into German.
Thank you once again for the help.
