smartplugs measure kW for longer period

Hi,
Maybe this app already exists, on the other hand i can't believe it's not a native app.
Else maybe it's an interesting project for a coder with to much spare time.
As a smartplug sends the current wattage to toon it should be possible to measure the usage over an extended period of time.
Or even the toon could be able to make a smartplug switch at a desired time of the day.
I don't know if it's easy to code, I'm not a programmer but i guess many people will love this feature.
