Yesterday my new HTC HD device is delivered. With two other new devices (S740 and the G3)

WOW what a device
Screen is amazing
Not all the applications can handle this new screen size.
Most common will work fine.
RDP
TomTom 7
Build in Opera 9.5

there is a kind of feedback build in ..when you touch the screen there will be short vibration
Screen size is comparable to the TomTom navigation devices..but with higher resulution...this means more details.
only missing part is flash...hope this will be available soon.

Chak, of friend of mine has one. He needs to control live security cams that work using a java application, there's a black box instead of images as seen with pc. so not 100% java support ! do you suggest some tricks?

@drmacchi

there are actually different virtual java machines on the ppc platform, so just try another and see or that one works.
I cant tell wich one is going to work, but have a look on a site like xda-developers.com and search on "virtual java machine"

Java will not work on most of the mobile devices.
Check if there is support for RTSP or 3GPP
if yes
You can tray two application's
ViewCommander or CorePlayer.
Other option is HSTouch for this you need still image support
