I see a lot of you got the Plugwise kits from
www.plugwise.com
I think its good to make a sticky topic where we put our wishes, findings and bugs.
Lets not make this a large discussion topic otherwise the purpose of this topic gets lost and there is enough room elsewhere

This way we can try to reach Plugwise and we benefit both ways
Summary (detailed in posts below):

Plugwise Ethernet controller instead of the USB dongle - ALL

Option to run the software as a service - Wifi

Remote web application with full functions as in the client - Chak

Explanation of the fields in the MSAccess MDB database - DJF3-2

Complete the small webserver version PlugwiseServer.exe, is not running good now! - Chak/Bwired

Homeseer plugin - Rualblas/ALL

64 bits support - Snelvuur

LINUX Support - Snelvuur/ALL

Fill-in registrationkey without Internet connection is not clear - Snelvuur

Fill in custom "Application types" - Wifi

On Off button on the circles" - All (seperate On Off switch is planned)

Graphs and Data updated more frequently" - de.lesse

Publication of the protocol between source and stick - ALL

a run as services option would be nice. This so you do not need to keep the main program running all the time.

- If you fill in your registration key it would be nice if it says "no internet connection found" if it cant validate the serial key. Otherwise you think you typed in the wrong key (and go nuts)
- Windows vista 64bits, it just doesn't work.
- Support for other o.s. , linux would be nice. <- highest on the list, problem is now you need to run it on windows and then read the webserver from linux if you ever want to do that (which not many people can do if there linux only)

You can probably already do that using "srvany.exe" although it would be nice to have it natively running as service. If you need an example of srvany let me know...

It would also be nice if you could set a custom "Select application type".
All we have now are preset application types.
Why? I have a plug between a 'toy' from my girlfriend.
It's now using the application type "game console", but I would love to give it the correct application type name

- at the end of the registration process you have to fill in all kind of crap, name/adres/etc .. why in godsname should i fill stuff like that in to use a "device" ? Gets better, i didn't mark the "send my data to plugwise" and i set my internet connection of .. and it still came with a error message that it cannot connect to portal.plugwise.com... sounds like bigbrother to me.. i dont know what it does, but i dont like to send my private details in..

An other nice "hardware" option would be to enable the plug from "off" mode (like a small push button)
Why? Lets say that I can not sleep at 04:00 and I want to watch TV.
As I have told the plug to turn the TV off at 01:00 when in standby mode and on again at 09:00, I can not watch TV.
The only way to enable the plug (at the moment) is to startup the PC, and turn the plug on that way.
It would be nice to have a small push button on the plug to set the plug to on again.
PS. The girls "game console" does not take a lot of power

- a 'back from Off to On' button (mentionend above)
- Minute reading. Not hourly.
- Ethernet connection.
