Remote and monitor my powermax plus via internet

First priority was to invest in a reliable burglarysystem. I think I reached my goal for so far. My next investment was a server, a new Asus eee 900 minipc with XP (powerconsumption 14/15 W). This minipc must run 24/h a day.
I've read that its possible to remote my PM plus via internet. Is the Powermax remote programmer with rs232 connection suitable for remote (via internet)? I could choose for a program like Radmin to login from anywhere on my computer.
Can I remote my PM plus with Homeseer also? I dont have HS yet but I'm looking for the most suitable solution.
