I got my RFXCom receiver device and I trying to add my Visonic Smoke Detector to homeseer with rfxcom plugin. I can see the device if I play with the temper switch in RFreceiver but rfxcom plugin (version 11.X.X) won't see the device and I can't add to my homeseer devices list. Same with Visonic remote keyfob. Any Ideas??

Well is my Log. Homeseer says like it can't find one of the receriver but RFreceriver shows me the device just fine (on second press)

You have to stop RFreceiver before you start Homeseer!
Only one application can communicate with a (virtual) COM port at the same time.

I don't use the Homeseer RFXCOM plugin at same time with RFXreceiver, never did! my problem is that RFXreceiver sees my visonic devices (although only after a second try) and rfxcom plugin don't.
any help will be appreciated very much.

what is the reason that the receiver is not seen at COM3?

well, this the reason I post my question. RFreceriver program, sees COM3 with any problem. and I get response from visonic devices.
By the way, I tried ACRF2 and COM3 is ok but visonic device do not register them selfs to ACRF2.

That is the problem: the ACRF2 is started before the RFXCOM plug-in and the ACRF2 has connected the COM port so it is no longer free for the RFXCOM plug-in.
Disable the ACRF2 and restart Homeseer.

Maybe I was misunderstood. I activated ACRF2 only after I disabled RFXCOM and vice-versa. They never worked together on the same port.

There is something wrong in your configuration that blocks access to COM3 for the RFXCOM plug-in.
I will send you a PM how to contact me for a chat to help you finding the source of the problem.
