Hi All,
I need some advice about replacement of an existing combination of power outlet and switch.
I have only one gap available.

The switch part is directly connected to the 220v

what i need at the end.
Power outlet
light Switch
X10

are there other product on the market that i can use in combination with x10 micro modules

I have the same combi here in my house.
I managed to put a micro module (AW12) behind it to control the switch remotely. The outlet is not X10-switched, however.

I did tray this ones it cost me one SAIX
there is 220 volt always on the sw.

Can you please describe how you connected the AW12.

Pfff,

I had to dismantle the whole thing, but now i remember...

When you hold the switch/outlet in front of you as shown on your picture, you can see a "strip" on the left going from the outlet to the switch. If so, then connect the wires like this: brown (fase) goes to the bottom left, blue (nul) goes bottom right, the black switch wire from the AW12 goes top left. And don't forget to use all 4 screw connections on the AW12. (you'll need an extra blue wire (dmv lasdop (oops, that's dutch))

That's it!

Yes, this should work, assuming the switch is making/breaking the contact between the brown (fase) and the AW12 switch wire.
I'll add a little drawing to try and make you more confident about how you connected it.

(Remember, this drawing is for my situation)

I had a similar switch/power outlet combination in my walls. I opted for the hard way and made an extra hole and replaced the combined switch/power outlet with two separate devices, as I wanted to use a two-way Xanura module (SAIX) and, as you found out yourself, one shouldn't put 230V on the switch wires of the SAIX module. Furthermore, an earthed outlet, together with a switch, a micromodule and some "lasdoppen" in one hole? That will get very cramped... If you drill an exra hole, you can also opt for 50mm "inbouwdozen", that should fit all hardware neatly.

I'm not a big fan of the AW12
The click sound is to much.

For the time being i will use it..and by the next painting of the wall I will make a extra hole.

I forgot to tell that this is a hotel switch.
downstairs there is also I switch
I think the best is to replace the unit downstairs with Xanura AIX?
or can I still use the current traditional switch?

You may consider a Xanura SAIX12 module ... this module can be placed close to the light - the input of this module should be the 230V on/off signal from the both "hotel" switches ... or in case there is no room at the light - put it behind the last hotel-switch .... just the black wire from the switch to the module input - the module should be powered with the blue and brown wire - and the output of them odule should be the black wire to the lamp.

I wish there was a SAIX12..but with a AIX12 and a SAIX we can build that......I hope..[8)]

I can just put the AIX12 and the SAIX in the lamp house.
don't need to modify any switch
