simple to use for not smart domotica people (wife ? -:), but 200 euros is too much for a panel where the background is a paper !

It's a nice idea and very power friendly.
A stand along 15" resistive touchscreen is about 100,- ( a 7" screen is 70Euro)This is complete with controller and usb cable. You still need to connect it to a PC. I was thinking of hooking up a Arduino to it to process the input and send out the control commands. Does any one have experience with any detail of this idea? If so i can open a new thread for it to discuss things.

... still too much money for me.... Nice gadget though. for the moment I'm happy with my easy icon 10..... but as fas I've read, you do NOT need to connect it to a PC.... or am I wrong...?

No PC needed to install and no pc needed to operate.
It works standalone on 2 AAA batteries. It works like a RF X-10 remote. You only need a transceiver to convert the RF to PLC.

Instead of putting the paper with printed buttons in the back you can put this paper in the front and put behind a number of SS13 (wallmounted X10 RF transmitter)
