Questions over the vera box

hi all

i am having some questions over the vera box wich i aint sure about.

as an example if you have an computer on with the webbrowser logged in to the verabox (so that you can see your rooms and lighting etc.) is it possible to dim the lights with a slider or something or must it be an event something like when i wanna watch tv dim lights to 60%.

Yes, you can ajust the light settings by a click on the procentage or to slide the slider:

ok thnx for your quick reply. this really helps alot for me.

then comes my next question. or idea. if you have an webpad or touchpanel with a wifi or internet connection then you could set it that it will automaticly login to the vera box. and then you could set the lighting or whatever. and because the verabox is a "standalone" you could set it that your touchscreen is out when no one is in the house and on when there is someone. or something like that.

Yes you can set your start page of your browser to point direct to the Vera and control it that way.
But notice this is not the ideal way of controlling it because the page is for controlling it on a bigger screen, there will be a touchscreen application with a GUI for it in the near future, first of all there will be a native Iphone app within a week or 4 and touchscreens will follow.
