I have no trust with this company now even though there system looks good.

I've been waiting for current cost to get their finger out and deliver on the IAMS that they promised over a year ago. I don;t think plugwise have quite got there yet. To be honest I can't see what the hold up is, it's just an alternative casing. I suspect that they don;t really want to release a UK plug version. Many countries in mainland Europe share plug styles which makes it more cost effective.

Its a shame they can't get there act together thing is i have the cash waiting for the right system. Current cost have some great ideas but when they put them in to practice god only knows. Plugwise are not doing themselves any favours at all promising a uk release time after time i jus got told last week they told one of my friends christmas 2010 to jan 2011 again just another put off.

The UK uses the same Voltage and frequency as the rest of Europe afaik, so the 230/50Hz should work....

Actualy... They do fit in the 3 pin's wall plug.
You will need to use a screwdriver to open the pin covers.
The problem is the 2 pin part back to the 3 pin UK format.

Screw driver trick dont work for each application. We use also the flat european plugs but some applications need the 3 wire connection. Such as my computers, screens, television and so on. Already blow up ones the power supply of my pc when using only 2 wires.... :D
