Almost all Oregon sensors are now received by the latest RFXCOM receiver versions. There are a lot of types that produce the same sensor ID. Not all sensor ID's are known in the software yet. Best is to test the sensor and if the sensor is received but not decoded by RFreceiver, send the received data to support rfxcom.com and a big chance that the sensor will be added as supported.
Note: there is always a risk that Oregon produces a sensor that cannot be received or decoded by software!

Besides the fact that rfxcom can receive most sensors (thats very nice) i got lost in the jungle of veriaties of the sensors that exists. All having the same or almost the same decription i was wondering if anyone knows the difference between the models.

Depends what you want, go for the latest models
A lot of Oregon sensors are not for sale anymore but still supported by rfxcom
Go for temp and hygro together in one sensor, there is also one with a separate sensor which is very handy for remote measuring.

that's the start of the Q. How does the coding work so you you what the latest model is, or is there not a logic in? btw i didn't find a module with a separate sensor, which model is this? Must say i took the rfxcom list as starting point.
