Units with preset dim levels?

I use a Ocelot controller for the bulk of my X10 activities.
It has the ability to send extended Leviton and PCS codes, so that pre-defined dim levels can be set.

But...

Where can I find 230V plugin-modules that accept these extended commands?

I think ACT has some units.

Thanks!

The site really sucked, but let's hope their hardware is better! :D

You can use the Marmitek LD11, LW11, LWM1 and LW12.
They all support extended code.

Hi Peter,
I think you are mistaken. Those units do not support extended code (or they must have been changed recently)!

I am not mistaken. They do support extended code.
LD11 and LW11 even support the full type 3 extended codes.
Also the ‘T’FIELD = the time over which the change takes place.
So you can use a time frame of 30s, 1 min or 5 min!
Works great!
Also the SW10 supports the full Type 0 extended code, so you can have 25 settings between opening and closing the shutter, or used an extende command to open or close all shutters on the same house code, or just open or close all shutters on all house codes!

Hi Peter,

Was not aware of that. In the documentation I have, this is not documented. Can you give me a pointer to the right document (LW12)?

Hi Peter,
Thanks; I mixed up the numbers. I looked up the first one in your list (LW11; which I own myself), which is an old Marmitek unit (not supporting extended code). But the other units (ACT, Eaton) of cause have extended facilities.

LW11:
TECHNICAL DATA
Power supply: 230 VAC, 50 Hz
Power consumption: < 20 mA, capacitive
Wiring required: Phase and Neutral
Switching power: 60 to 500 W for light bulbs and halogen lighting
Low-voltage halogen light compatible with most
halogen light transformers
Soft start and soft dim. Memory function for
most recent dim setting
Dimming speed: 3.7 s +/– 0.2 s from 100% to 0%
Can be set to the required dim setting from 0%
Signal sensitivity: 15 mVpp min, > 50 mVpp at 120 kHz
X-10 transmission: 1 pulse burst at 0°, 60° and 120°
Input impedance: > 60 ohms (L–N) at f = 120 kHz
X-10 key codes: All Units Off, All Lights On, On, Off, Dim, Bright,
All Lights Off, <b>Extended Code</b>
Additional switch to be connected: momentary switch (must not include a built-in
serial control light)
Can be used for alternating circuits
Fuse: 2.5 A (T) 5 x 20 mm
Connectors: Screw connectors for Phase, Neutral, switched
Phase and momentary switch
Minimum installation depth: 35 mm
Ambient temperature: -10°C to +50°C (operation)
-20°C to +70°C (storage)

Did you try to use extended codes with your LW11?
They have supported extended codes for a long time!
When you dim the LW11 to 50 % and then send off then ON is it at 50% again or 100%?

Hello Peter
I tried using extended commands with the LW11 and you are completely right. The type3 commands are working!
Thanks
