plugwise gives for system specs.
a 1Gh procesor and 1gb intern mem.

is this really needed, mij server is a old one and has only the half of the specs plugwise advises.

it runs win 2003 server.and very stabil.
shout it become a problem run the plugwise on this serve

Plugwise will run fine on your system.

Maybe you can use one of the plugs and check what the usage of your server is.
Old systems consume lot of power.
Atom server will consume 15-30 watt

ok i will have a try,...
power cosumpion of our home at night is about 250-300 w.
this includes all,.....i thought that it was not to bad.

i am thinking to get a new server, but all the work to set it up again holds me back.

Atom 330 is a good CPU
usage is low performance is good.
