All connections over IP

There is no model/type info on the front of the JBL device and i don't want to take the heavy thing out again.
The point is that it can see and play music from an attached usb stick but it don't see anything if i use a ethernet to usb adapter. The same goes for my Philips ambilight tv which has a usb slot on the side.

The problem with these type of devices is that they only have support for storage devices built in, not for network device. There are some execptions that require a specific network device from the same brand.

Does anyone has experince using it with a ImoTouch screen. It uses USB 2.0 with displaylink

Well comparable with the belkin :(
BUT, finally got respons from manufacturer (with appologies fot the long delay) wich pointed me to a beta frimware especially for the disconnecting problem. They also mentioned that the fully suppor FTDI USB/RS232 convertors :)

Ok, I'm going to order the AnywhereUSB, not the cheapest but at least it works.

after changing with the beta firmware of the netUSB400i the disconnecting problem seems to be gone. running now for 3 weeks without a problem.

NetUSB400i is running pretty well. Even an eminent asb->RS232 convertor is accepted which is connected to the CTX35. All works pretty good now.

OK,

I updated my laptop to a Macbook pro.
Nice toy....., but my Belkin USB Network Hub is not supported is seems by OSX 10.7...

For controlling a digital mixing console, i am looking for a replacement now.
Any recomendations????
