AXA Remote Ventilation RV2900, Window opener

Post by Bwired »

Hi all,
A new product from AXA which I welcome very much! I think you all have the same problem with ventilating bedrooms etc. Well AXA has the solution for me with the Remote ventilation RV2900 SKG*. What I'm thinking about is connecting these automatic window openers to my Home automation Domotica system and depending on weather, humidity and temperature I can automatically open certain windows (you name it!). There is not much information available on the site right now but I send AXA an email for more information, I would like to know how the remote works and on what frequency etc.

What do you all think?

For my new house i have the mechanical ventilation. I presume this will be enough ventilation without having to open the windows right? (í've allready set that on my list of automated things)

I have mechanical ventilation as well, but thats not sufficient for my bedrooms, or do you have channels there as well. So this a good option for me I think. The cost will be from 59.95 euro, I have a folder from a retailer. I mailed AXA, still no answer from them, lets see if they have good service :-)

That would be great :-) but depends on a lot of things. What is the frequency exactly, what is the protocol they are using etc.

At first I thought so too but then I saw the option of opening multiple windows with just one remote control by means of programming them. The also have 4 billion codes available for optimal safety. This could mean that the remote is sending the same code every time.

Erik you are right again, the AXA has infrared [V]. I told the guys at AXA that this is very regrettably. I think they only made this product for controlling windows which are not easy to reach, point the infrared remote in the direction and click to open it. There are so more possibilities for this device to make life more easier! I'm thinking about buying one and do some remodeling because the construction and motor which are in the device are very usable.
Here is the flyer regarding the product

Well if it can open my garage door it would be really nice :) i think most of my windows will open from the top with a normal doorhandle. So it would not work for me anyway.

Any progress on this item? I'd like to automate my windows to get full benefid of the already automated screens.
They need a closed window to go down ;)

Quick response; In the future possibly an implementation RF will come, but not in the short term.
