Where did you get the "remco.exe" because I cannot find it.
I've downloaded the "Fenestra-2011_11_08-Debug.zip" but there is no "remco.exe" inside.
Do you know if this works with 2010 TV models?

Hey Frank,

Its been a while... so i might be confused. Remco.exe has to be compiled from the source.
Fenestra debug package looks different as i dont see any sources in that.

I will have a look when i am at home and report back later on.

Okay i was wrong, it is in the win32 sdk

http://sourceforge.net/projects/jointsp ... z/download

Compile it in visual studio on a 32bits windows machine and you there you have remco.exe
This should work on a 2010 model as mine is

Last weekend I read about JSTx and got it to work on my Raspberry Pi.. NICE!

However...

Now everything is working I have no clue on what I really want to send to my TV??

- "Doorbell ring"? (I can obviously hear that?)
- "New email"? (that will generate > 30 messages an hour?)
- don't have phone integration (people call my cell)
- Webcam images (on doorbell ring)? Can't do it because they generate JPG's and TV needs PNG's.

What do I want to send to my TV?

Any ideas?

Hi,

there are some interesting examples on a german forum using JSTx : [ip-symcon.de/forum/threads/11705-Philip ... nden/page9]. For example: show the doorbell on the ring is one thing you can do. You can use a linux tool like Imagemagick to convert the image from JPG to PNG and then show it on the screen:
e.g. "jpegtopnm img.jpg | pnmscale 0.5 | pnmtopng >/tmp/test.png"
