i have bought a visonic 3200wl camere with wifi capabilities
it installs with network wire in the powerlink module of the powermax pro with no problem.
but then.
no installguide available or delivered.
i can't see a leeched ip adres on my router , nor wired nor wifi., but still it makes contact by wire with the powerlink. I read in the forums, that you have to pull out the network wire from the camera and then after a few houres it makes wirelss contact whith the powerlink module. but what is its wirelss ip adress ?
i only have a mac adres on thecbottem of the camera.
who knows? I want to reach the camera directly with my browser.

you can always try this simple trick: use arp to fix an IP on the mac address, when the cable is connected just add a IP to the mac address on th bottom off the cam and use that to access it with a browser. To add the arp entry:
arp -s 157.55.85.212 00-aa-00-62-c6-09

Thats is strange you should be able to check the wireless connections and related IP addresses.
How can you view the camera when is on the lan cable?

i can view the camera on the webpage of the visonic powerlink module. the visonic powerlink finds the camera within 5 minutes on the wired network.
i use a cisco 871w router behind a cable modem, the ip adresses of the wifi are in a different range from the wired ones. this router can give a lot infrmation via the cli but i cant find the camera.

Your router must have a DHCP lease list. There you can find the IP.
Otherwise try Angry IP Scanner on the wireless net. If your camera doesn't have to secure a setup, Angry IP scanner will find it.

what i found out until now.
when i put the camera on the wired network a ip is leashed by the router for the camera.
then in the visonic powerlink panel i can enroll the camera, as soon as it is enrolled the camere, the ip vanishes.
on other forums they say you have to make the make a wired connection first and then a wifi connection is esthablished after you disconnect the network wire to the camera, that can take hours, but i haven't got so far yet.

the visonic camera is the same as the marmitek robocam 21, i think only with other firmware.
the only program that finds the ip adresses is ipfinder from the website marmitek.
but i cant chance the ip adresses because i dont know which username and password visonic gives them.
http://www.marmitek.com/en/product-deta ... here21.php
also ultraview from conceptronic finds them( the link on marmitek doesn't work)

the marmitek robcam 21 is exact the same as the visonic 3200 but the visonic has no usb port. i bought a marmitek on ebay and its recognized and enrolled as a visonic 3200. This implicates only that you can't approach the robocam with http or ultraview but only with the powerlink module, the visonic powerlink makes it a visonic camera . only with a reset to factory defaults its is a marmitek again.

you can use the visonic wireless 3200 camera as a marmitek if you do a complete hardware reset(more then 5 seconds). then it is as accessible as a marmitek camera and has al the functions of a marmitek camera. after the enrollment by powerlink it is not accesible anymore. i doesn't accept the newest marmitek firmware. not the right model he returns.
