For people that are thinking about buying the ABUS doorlock a few remarks:

In Germany you can order a DIY package of the lock at ELV. They sell the build version too but the DIY version is only 89,95 euro and not too difficult to assemble. It took me about an hour. It involves some soldering on printboards of wires and some mechnical parts. Pretty straight forward. Also handy for replacement of parts.
DIY set is 89.95 euro, the assembled version is 125 euro.

Also the interface is no longer sold in the Netherland but still available in Germany (and for a much lower prices)

Yes you are right but a search for keymatic at www.elv.de will do the trick.
