I need a printerport (parallel) to drive a I/O board however the eeeBox i am planning to buy doesn't have such port.
Do anyone have experience with an usb to parallel adapter and is this fully competable?

No experience whatsoever, but I do have a couple laying around here if I digg in the junkbox I think.
If I have more than 1 here, you can have one if you want.

tried some time ago. disadvantage is that it does create a "real" LPT port so some things won't work.
Switched over to a docking station for laptop. That one (acer) did create a LPT port.
