<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">But Elektor doesn't mention a FieldCommander device in the URL, it mentiones an Embedded Linux Server.
That is a completely different device.
Differences:
- hardware: ELS1700 has VGA output; USB; analog in/out
- software: no FieldCommander toolsoftware
but Embedded Linux Server(Debian) configuration with
Apache, MySQL and PHP.
I think it is a nice platform for projects
like an opensource home automation project.

No converter; no heatsink required.

Ah, so 90.000 euro's? Any price indication would create some shoppers, if the price is right.

If somebody is willing to try this application

Not sure how Windows can be installed if there is no video
If they can deliver the device with embedded windows XP that will be nice

Maybe something cheaper for Domotica, with web server and 2 serial ports.
