Is it possible to upgrade the firmware of existing duwi's to their duwi.me counterparts? Or is the only the expensive old node in new node out procedure

The folks at zwave.me told me that it is possible to update the FW, but you have to send them in. I didn't want to send mine in, so I didn't ask how much it would cost. Email them and ask.

I have sent them an e-mail.

I maybe start a upgrade proces in the next weeks.

Will you replace the firmware yourself or do you sent them in?

I might be interested in this as well.
Not all my modules are built in yet.
So would be easy to do.

I have not the tools and the firmware for the upgrade.
Upgrade can only be done by ZWE.

Upgrade time 3-6 weeks
Shipment cost
Firmware cost.

Owner -> TANE -> ZWE ->TANE -Owner

Since the shipment cost are high I need first to collect the modules before shipment
This will increase the upgrade time.
This means I have to work wit replacement modules..

Shipment
->TANE 7 euro
->ZWE 10 euro
->TANE 10 euro
->Owner 7 euro

Total shipment cost per set are 34 euro.

Costs of the replacement modules ?

Firmware upgrade per modula +/- 10 euro (depend on number of modules)
All the cost will make the upgrade cost so high that I think the upgrade costs are not acceptable.

Will you pay +/-15 euro per module?

I'm a reseller of the ZWE
Investment in the upgrade hardware will cost lot of money and you will need the firmware..
ZWE works only with the resellers.
ZWE Town is Hohenstein-Ernstthal.

Upgrade is possibile..I need the minimum number of 20 modules..(More will reduce the shipment cost)

To make a good price..will you need replacement modules?
