Events: 'run now' evaluates condition?

I wonder if clicking 'run now' in an event will evaluate a condition or not.

Is it right to assume a condition needs to evaluate to true in order to make the event run?

Any experience?

Yup, that's how it works here
ie: Dev_53_Value="Disarm"
Eval result: True
Event is processed.
