Hi I am wondering if you guys can point me in the right direction for this.

I currently have a BT branded Visonic alarm. I am thinking of upgrading it to either a Powermax Pro or complete, by swapping the panels only, as I have all the sensors i need.

The reason I am swapping is so as I can link the alarm panel to homeseer or my server through some means to allow me to control various aspects of the house when we set the alarm, for example turn the heating off when we go out. Is it possible to link either of them to a server / homeseer without X10 through the powerlink or serial for example? I really am not keen on using X10 and would rather connect by other means, but i'm not sure if that is possible.

Why dont you look a bit more further in this forum? Its quite easy to find. We een have a subforum for the visonic powerlink. There you find ways to control through serial.
