Hi,

I recently started with a little website showing data from my weather station and solar panel production. Since I already owned a smile I tried to get data from it via the plugwise webserver.
I get the xml with al appliances http://192.168.x.x:8080/api/data.xml?type=appliances.

I can read the values from my power meter <powerusageround>650 W</powerusageround> however this value is always positive even when source and plugwise iphoneapp show negative values.

Is there another way to show wether the power usage is negative?

Regards,

Remco

Hello,

I would like also to include some of the readings I have on my Plugwise web server on my Solar web site. Also have a Weather station, but only uploading to wunderground site.

What I've included on my solar website, is a cumsuption reading directly from an Energy device "Theowl". So I can have a reading from Consuption versus prodution.

Sorry I cannot answer your questions direclty, but I really want to know how are you including the weather readings on your website?

For the weather station i use http://sandaysoft.com/products/cumulus
This software gets the data directly from my Davis Vantage Pro 2 console and sends the data to wunderground and publishes to my website every 5 minutes and tweets every hour.

I just use the standard templates which look like this: http://weather.vanbreugel.org.

I use the same: http://members.casema.nl/joop.kunst.
It is easy to add your own stuff to it.
I added a sunny indicator, a picture and info from buienradar.
