HS3 toggles Alarm panel setting

It might be HS3 itself but when I have an event setting the RFXCOM alarm panel to a new setting, lets say "Armed-Away" and another event or the same triggers this setting again, it toggles the status to "Home". I don't think this is how it should work. Setting an alarm on or off should not be able to toggle it in the opposite direction.
Of course you could poll the status first but that seems a lot of extra work.
So is this a bug or feature and is it HS3 or RFXCOM plugin that could help me with this.
