Hi,

I'm seriously considering buying/building a Z-Wave system at my home, but i don't know what is best to buy : Vera Lita or a Raspberry PI with Razberry.
I hope someone can help me with the choice!

Regards,
Dennis

Really depends on things like:
- what you actually want to do
- budget
- how much you like to tinker
- how flexibility you want
- etc.

As such: more details needed ;)

If you own an old notebook or pc you could start with an Aeon Labs Z-wave stick and the Z-Wave devices you want. Depending on your computer skills you can start with Domotiga / Homeseer (free for 30 days). If this gives you what you need you can take it to the next level by bying a controller or lightweight (non power consuming) computer running the software that you want

If you look into homeseer, then i'd recommand a different stick. I have the aeon labs and there are some issues with this stick in homeseer3.

And as an addition. Of you want freedom use homeseer, domotiga or a computerprogram. If you want less hassle and only use zwave i'd go for a fibaro hs2 station.
