I have a KAKU doorbell ACDB-7000BC:

It has always worked fine in domoticz, but since I updated my RFXtrx the signal isn't recognized anymore.
The chimes still work fine, it's just the RFXtrx doesn't process the signal anymore.


Anyone who can help me with this?

try with RFXmngr with only the AC protocol enabled

All protocols disabled except AC?

maybe with only the ARC protocol enabled?

I tried AC, ARC and X10 but none of them work.

These doorbells have pretty shitty range. Maybe you can move it closrr andere see if it works?

The receiver of the doorbell works just fine.
Just the RFXtrx doesn't process or receive the signal.
And the RFXtrx is really close to the transmitter of the doorbell.
My oregon temp/hum sensors work all fine.

You updated the RFXtrx from-to which firmware version.
Do you receive the pushbutton if you go back to the previous version?

I went back from firmware 74 (type 1) to 68 (type 1).
Still no luck.

Went back again to firmware 74.
I got a Byron sx35 lying around so I tried it. It works.
The oregon temp/hum sensors work.

I even tried a second KAKU transmitter, CDB-6500. Nothing.

With only the AC protocol enabled you should receive KAKU
Disable all other protocols!

Today it started receiving the doorbell again.
I don't know what changed, it just works again.
