Has anyone been able to get RFXmngr running on a Mac using Mono?

I have read this topic

but the documentation says it should be possible:

The RFXtrx User Guide has been corrected.

RFXmngr cannot be used under mono because mono does not support the enable functions for tabs and selection boxes.

Will rfxcom keep supporting the lan version with firmware updates to add f.e. the soil sensors, or is it heading to end of life?

This question has nothing to do with RFXmngr on Mac!
The current RFXLAN is end of life.
