Re: Buying solar panels
If you like to install the panels by yourself, a good shop is 'groene-energiewinkel' in Breda.
I bought my new panels last year there.

Re: Buying solar panels
Same here, is it still true that german panels are preffered above chinese?
A couple of 240Wp panels would be great.

Re: Buying solar panels
We are using 10 panels from Aleo, sourced through Zon en Co http://www.zonenco.nl/
Not sure if German panels are really better than Chinese ones, but since this is not only about saving some money (at least not for us), we also wanted to be considerate to the environment. Beyond the fact that things are more controlled in Germany when compared with China, we've also ruled out possible child labor, unfair pays and last but not least, minimize unnecessary transport across the globe.
Looking at the Aleo panels; they are performing well better than initially calculated (8 months now). If you want to integrate with domotica you probably want to look at the possibilities of the inverter to communicate with the outside world. We're using SMA with bluetooth, RS-485 seems to be an option as well.
Last but not least, when selecting an inverter look carefully at the installation; on one side it needs to be close to the panels to reduce powerloss in the DC/DC cabling. On the other hand some inverters are a bit more noisy than other ones (but all of them will make noise).
Hope this helps, if you need more info let me know.

Re: Buying solar panels
Hi,
I bought 2 300 Wp panels, because I have no more room for more panels. You have to be more specific about your requirements and expectations because there are so many options these days....
