Re: Toon gets data from MQtt (InfluxDB)
This is an old topic I see. But I'm doing something similar. A long time ago I tried to use MQTT via node.js (See here: https://www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?t=11982 ). But that wasn't a viable option. Too resource intensive, and difficult to integrate with apps. Nowadays, I send statistics usi...

Re: thermstat_boilerTemp missing since update
I still would like to try replacing the /HCBv2/config/config_hcb_rrd.xml with a version that still has the thermstat_boilerTemp in it, so of a version 5.33.9 or earlier Toon. Can someone upload that for me please?

Re: thermstat_boilerTemp missing since update
I tried installing previous versions of hcb-rrd, so hcb-rrd_2.227-master_nxt.ipk for example. But this does not return the metrics in the config file. Maybe the config file is in a related package, but I don't know which. What I would first like to try is place a version of the configuration file (/...

thermstat_boilerTemp missing since update
Good day folks. I updated my firmware recently, to 5.49.7. Since then, I don't have statistics anymore for thermstat_boilerTemp and thermstat_boilerRetTemp. The url http://<toon IP>/hcb_rrd?action=getRrdData&loggerName=thermstat_boilerTemp&rra=30days&readableTime=1&samples=1 returns ...

Re: Toon firmware - update script
My etc/resolv.conf pointed to my local DNS first, then to 8.8.8.8. I checked both from Toon with nslookup (by explicitly stating the DNS server it should use as a command line param), and they were both slow. Because of that, and the fact that I do not have slow DNS on any other device as far as I c...

Re: Toon firmware - update script
Good day folks! Today I got a notification that there was new firmware (5.49.7) available. After checking the forum if it was safe to update, I initiated the update on my Toon2. After the update, the TSC menu was not there anymore, and all my apps and settings were gone. I performed a reboot, which ...

Re: QT websockets
From firmware 5.0.4 the original Toon resources also include libraries for QT5 websockets! To use the libraries install them when having the VPN running with "opkg install libqt5websockets5" (I will probably add an option to the update-script to install this for you soon). Hi. Has the upd...

Re: Toon firmware - update script
I'm not sure what to make of this now. I have rooted Toon2 and no subscription. You disabled the message, so I should not see it either? Or did I mess something up with my vpn/update actions?

Re: Toon firmware - update script
Hey guys, I saw this interesting thing about QT websockets yesterday ;) So I ran update-rooted.sh -o to enable vpn, did opkg update to get latest packages, and installed the QT web sockets package. Then I went to the TSC menu to reboot. I checked for update instead, and there was one, so I updated. ...

Oke, thanks. Will havea look at that later. Had a different 'issue', was importing QtQuick 1.x, which is no longer there. Changed it to 2.1, apps working again.
