Picking up the hobby a bit again.

I found this nice MQTT AirSensor Display from Lars Who is building these nice gadgets
Very Nice thing About it That you can Also Display your own status text via MQTT on the panel
Also all the values can be send to via MQTT to Homey, Home Assistant, Domoticz or your own system (in my case)

yes i bought one, its working great, and displaying mqtt messages is cool
firmware request are handled fast also

Built an Awtrix 2 last year, which has a sort of app-store with lots of interesting stuff. But the real nice thing is that you can also feed the display with messages (and animations) via MQTT. Very cool to build (having access to a laser cutter at home helps ) and a real eye-catcher when running.

What kind of message do you send via mqtt? Just the data or more complex messages with text/images etc.

I am using it mainly for data display, but also animations like hearts blinking during a heartbeat measurement, and other small effects. For example when someone is home I can display "Welcome Home" on the screen. The possibilities are endless!
