Conrad Wireless multi functional doorbell

Post by Bwired »

Hi Guys
For us this is big fun!
The new Conrad wireless multi functional doorbell
It logs when somebody rings your doorbell, it also shows inside temperature, alarm and it has a countdown timer for birthdays.

Wow, I will order this device and quit the hobby [:D]

Well your right, this is it. I can quit my hobby too and focus purely on this device.

Would be nicer if the doorbell sends on a frequency that the rfxcom can handle..

it says:
Frequentie: 433 MHz

shouldn't it show something on the rfxcom receiver?

Yes it's on 433 and it is possible that it is directly working on a rfxcom but not likely. Rfxcom receiver is a receiver for 433Mhz but that does not indicate that all transmissions on that frequency can be translated. Most time the embedded software in the Pic needs to be updated, sometimes even a Little hardware adjustment. I think this is an ELV product and so I think not supported. I think there is no reason to support it becuase only the doorbell (pusher) is transmitting, and there we have KAKU and other.

Thanks - let's hope it doesn't "conflict" much with the other transmissions going on 433Mhz then.
Although it's unlikely, being used just for the momentary "Push"... :)
