Did someone manage to build an x10 micro module self.

I talk to some one about this topic and he know's what he is talking about.
he thinks he can make it better and thiner.

in the SAIX is standard PIC16CE625 used

You still need some programming stuff on it, doesn't that clash with xanura and a bunch of lawyers? Idea is nice though.

X10 is, i dont think xanura is, if you build a saix its a copy of a xanura model, there might be copyright with. (i could be wrong ofcourse)

The X10 patent expired in december 1997, and is now an open standard. As long as you don't make carbon copies of other manufacturers products it should be fine.

idea is go for 2 way x10 standard.
use components that are more sensitive, and all can be thiner if you don't use a relia

Hi,
I have indeed made several X10 units. The Microchip design is based on another design. See: http://www.abacuselectrics.com/x10.htm
The receive hardware will work (I still use it in my blind controller) but the transmitter will probably not (I did not build the Microchip unit).
X10 is free to use. I also have a document from Phil Kingerly (one of the designers of A10) which details all the possible enhancements for X10 units. I do not want to copy it, but you can ask him for a copy.
