Hi.
I'm a computer engineering student at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a complete newbie into this world.
For our last year project, my team wants to develop some software that allows managing and operating a domotic system from an Android (a new cellphone operative system) based cellphone, using Bluetooth or Wifi.
My first approach was to send messages to a PC, so the PC translates these messages to an X10 interface. But I want to avoid the computer. Is there any standalone controller (X10 or Zigbee, for example) that implements Bluetooth or Wifi access?

The RFXCom modules are available in WIFI too... this means you can bridge X10 to WIFI, if that is what you meant.

rfxcom is not x10 (it can send / receive rf signals for it), unless your referring to a rs232 extender with a ctx35/cm11 behind it.
