Sometimes it's important to move the focus from the technical side to the WAF-side.

That's why I found this way to 'hide' my home-theatre equipment (which happens to be a lot less than normal right now). My wife sees:

And I see:

Baskets? Ikea. Why the resized garbage bags on the inside of the baskets? To prevent light me from seeing the displays of my devices and to prevent IR signals to hit the devices directly.

I use a Marmitek Invisible Control to extend the IR signal to my devices (up to 4 devices). Right below the TV you see the IR receiver.

Nicely done, but i would prefer to show my goods

i think i can manage that with my gf. She doesn't know how to use it but she does like the things i do with it. Get a roomba for your gf and she will like the stuff (at least thats how i did it)
