4000 euro is also very nice..
I have the older version don't use the lights anymore.
My next Tv will be an Sony..can buy 3 for that price..

I like the lights, i have an ambilight now too. Its just nice to see something different.

I have ambilight too now. I like it too, but I rarely have it switched on because I don't have a white background behind my TV. It would have been really nice if the Philips moodlights would assume the same colour as the ambilight does, but I'm afraid that's a 'missed oppertunity'.

Anyway, the ambilights are controller though I2C, so if anybody in interested in reverse engineering (and publishing!) the protocol I'd be happy to remove them from my TV and borrow them for some time...
