I've got my RFXreceiver connected to meteohub. All sensor data received by meteohub is duplicated on port 5500. This made me wonder if I could use this data for homeseer or housebot.
1st test proved to be successful; if I use RFReceiver and point it to meteohub with port 5500, it shows me all incoming data as it appears normally when directly connected.
Since homeseer/housebot both rely on the Lantronix port redirector, I've tried to configure it using meteohub. But no matter how I change the configuration, it keeps on refusing to connect to meteohub.
The above makes me think that the Lantronix redirector is apparently expecting more than just output, is it doing any kind of handshake? Is there a way that I can connect the redirector in "dummy" mode like RFreceiver, or are housebot/homeseer also doing some initialization routines?

The CPR needs to have direct contact with the Lantronix LAN controller.
Another problem is that HouseBot and Homeseer transmit init commands to the receivers and this is not possible when using Meteohub in between.
