Detailed comparison Homeseer - Vera. Is it accurate?

Post by olof »

On the homeseer website, there's an overview which shows in detail a feature comparison between Homeseer (HS2) and Vera.

board.homeseer.com/attachment.php?attac ... 1267122479

Does anyone happen to know whether it's accurate?

Thanks in advance

Maybe it's accurate (I'm not the person to comment on that, due to lack of knowledge about the 2); complete it's definitely not; it's only about events.

I'm sure there are reviews where Vera is more positief.

If domotica is not going to be your hobby then you better go for Vera.
Homeseer is more flexibel in interfacing
More means also complexity and bugs.

If domotica is not going to be your hobby, you better stay away from domotica (just my 2 cents ;-) )

Thanks for the replies.
Just for the record, last week I bought a Vera because it looks like a good first step (for me) into domotica. This overview for me is nice to have for that day that I graduate into Homeseer.

I guess I fit into the category: 'I-want-domotica-to-work, but-not-make-a-hobby-of-it'. :)
On that note, I sent Tane a PM a while back, that I will gladly will take up his webshop offer for service and help as soon as we get the keys to our new house.

Cheers,
Olof
