Does anyone know if it's possible to made a connection (only for the video) to connect it to a pc or a other device that can convert video to Ethernet? from this doorcam -> Alecto DVM 91
Not exactly a solution, but it should be possible:
I've heard of it being done with cheap (cabled) video doorbells that send everything over two wires, although I have never seen it working myself. Although wireless, the video signal and 'ringing button' signal, from this doorbell, is sent (from the outdoor part) via a wire to the green connector connection (which supposedly also provides power to the camera) inside, before being converted into a wireless signal (by the indoor part).
So the video is in there somewhere and probably it is using pretty low-level tech. The trick is figuring out how to extract a composite(?)coaxial(?) video signal out of those two wires that you can pipe through an IP video encoder.
That said some other cam solution might be more cost/time effective.
