Take a look at http://www.foxxl.nl ,this is small dutch hosting company with really affordable prices. And the greatest of all... you can almost run/do anything there, cgi-bin, cgi-exe, php 4/5, asp, asp.net 1.1/2, perl, python, MSSQL, MySQL etc etc. (the cgi-bin/exe was the main reason to take an account with them, most of the hosting company's won't alloud you to do this withing reasonble prices)

The lowest price for an account wil be 4.76 euro/month (this is incl. vat) this is including a domain name registration. I have several years running a site with them without any problems. I don't know if this is interesting for the foreign members, but it can be for the dutch members.

My two cents.

WR,

Richard

I have pretty good experiences with http://www.bluehost.com. They have <i>impressive</i> features, good support and incredible specs.

<ul>
<li> 1500 GB storage (yes, that's 1.5TB) </li>
<li> almost unlimited everything</li>
<li> many, many features like automated web app install, sql, etc. </li>
</ul>
For a detailed feature list and admin panel demo click here: http://www.bluehost.com/tell_me_more.html

Price? $8 / month for a 1 year contract ($7 for 2-year contract)

You can register your domain with what is called a "Domains by Proxy".
I do not know what tld you are looking for, but most big registers have a "Domains by Proxy" registartion option.
I'm not 100% sure if a .NL can be registered this way (I believe that it's not allowed)

i always register my hostnames on my old address.. works like a charm. but some crazy fool put my 06 number on a few hostnames back when i was supporting them.. changing it is a real problem.
