Experience with Busch Jaeger

Post by binkiem »

Currently i use switches from the brand Jung. I would like to switch to Busch Jaeger (because the looks are nicer). But i cannot find a replacement of the Jung 531-4U (twee vlaks impulsdrukker) which has 4 switches. Does some has experience with Busch Jaeger?

I found this one, but the elektroonline helpdesk said it isn't a replacement of the Jung 531-4U functionality

I'm currently looking into making my first steps in the domotica world. In our home we also have Busch Jaeger (SI Creme series) and I found this switch which I want to connect to a Xanura DIAX12.

Unfortunatly for you, this is only a single impulsswitch (1 vlaks). However, if you have the oppertunity to drill an extra hole in the wall then you can fit two of these next to each other using this frame.

i send a mail to Abb, this is the distributer. They confirm me that it is not possible. So i stick with Jung.

@Leechguy: i don't now if you choose the right one. It's a Jaloezieschakelaar.

I know it's a 'jaloezieschakelaar' :) Instead of upping an lowering the blinds, I'll be upping and lowering the light intensity (or at least that's how I hope it will work).
To try it out first, I have ordered only one switch to create a simple test setup and do some trial and error. If all works well, then I will order a couple more. I will order the DIAX12 soon as well.
If it doesn't work then I'll go looking for the 2 implusswitch that Lempens mentions.

The blind switch ("jaloezieschakelaar") will work; I was in the same situation and requested the same thing of ABB about a month ago. Perhaps if enough people will ask they will consider producing such a switch like Jung has.
