If you mean the Belkin one, yes I have one and used it on my virtual machine with Homeseeer.
Although the device worked fine, it was not connecting as service but I had to login as user, also the Xanura module I used had trouble connecting now and then.
So it is sitting on the shelf here.

I did not test this..I think it will work.
but why are you not upgrading to the ethernet version?
This will give you more flexibility. And I'm sure more stability.

if you go for AnywhereUSB..
433.92 receiver > USB -> AnywhereUSB -> ethernet -> PC -> AnywhereUSB driver ->USB2Rs232->Virtual Com->Homeseer

Rfxcom ethernet
433.92 receiver > ethernet -> PC -> Virtual Com-> Homeseer

I hope soon
433.92 receiver > ethernet -> PC -> Homeseer

ps.
AnywhereUSB will only allow sharing of all the USB ports on 1 machine at the same time.
speed is USB 1.1

I already have RFXCOM ethernet version, but I have other USB devices e.g. PCLBUS adapter. I want to place those in the wiring-closet. As I understand AnywhereUSB emulates USB 'hardware' and acts as an additional USB hub in your PC.

I think it's pure the software..
My Device server from lava has 2 rs232 connection..i can connect every port to a different machine.

I saw that plugwise has also something with ethernet connection...check the latest post from Pieter about Plugwise.
