Yes, the WTGR800 can be received and can be displayed on the RFXWeather chart.

For the complete list of supported Oregon Scientific sensor see: http://www.rfxcom.com/hsrfxcom.htm

You can get that one with a weather station normally i think..

I also saw this one at http://www.hetweerinbleiswijk.nl/apparatuur which they used a small linux device to collect the data and such, pretty nice setup.

anyway a quick look on google http://www.klokkenfabriek.nl/index2.php ... =produkten , but this is a total set i think.

Got my unit on the roof but my wind speed reading is not working. Everything else works fine.
I have placed the wind 'rotor' on top of the unit but is seems very loose. Can anybody with the WTGR800 confirm that this is normal? I don't need to push it down on a lock or so? It all seems pretty fragile.
Thanks, Bastiaan

You just remove the silicon protection (for the rain) then losen the screw, put the wind rotor back on top and fasten the screw again, then place back the silicon protection. The rotor turns without friction, because the readings are transmit by 2 magnets. The screw protects the rotor from blown of of the meter. I think in your case the magnets are not close enough to the meter itself.

batteries in the sensor ;-)
reset of the sensor does not help?
Enable All RF protocols in the receiver to be sure that the Oregon protocol is enabled.
Does your receiver version already support the Oregon 3.0 protocol?
