Anyone tried to get the Current Cost monitor in the Netherlands ? Because Ebay says that Current Cost doesn't deliver outside UK.
I think it's a nice device for a low price.

I don't know what the currency is over there.

That would be the New Zealand Dollar (NZD)
200NZD = +/-83EUR
(Electricity is supplied throughout New Zealand at 230/240 volts (50 hertz))

that current clip is big!

That's not a real problem, I have enough space on the right of the Xanura Phase filter. But the price is better then the price of RFXcom.

I added a couple more links about the XML it outputs and some other things like a wiki.

BTW I saw that the thing has the Pound and Euro sign included. From the FAQ:

Within a few days I expect to support also the CM119 OWL in the RFXCOM receiver. The CM113 is already supported.
The OWL is less expensive as the currentcost monitor. http://www.theowl.com/
These devices cannot be compared with the RFXMeter because they are current sensors only and the voltage is a fixed parameter in the display unit. The power usage is therefore only a rough indication.
The RFXMeter is a universal metering device able to measure real power and pulse metering for gas and water. The RFXPwr device measures the line voltage and the current and has an internal watts/hour counter with an accuracy comparable to the utility meter.
The RFXMeter is supported by many Home Automation applications like: Homeseer with the RFXCOM plug-in and the RFXCharts, HouseBot, xPL, XTension and others.

The CM119 OWL is also only send to the UK mainland, and not to The Netherlands.

Google for OWL and you will find companies that deliver outside UK:

and probably others.

Hi Bert, Nice addition having the Owl working on RFXcom! Although I agree that the Owl and Current Cost are not the RFXMeter, they offer a nice alternative (aka "gulden middenweg") for people that are not willing to spend double or triple the amount to get the RFXMeter.
