Gira homeserver 2

Does anybody have working experience with publishing a Gira Homeserver 2 on the internet?

I am trying to answer questions like:

- What type of authentication is available?
- Is SSL supported?

The company who has installed it wants to publish it using plain http and without any encryption of passwords or userids. Not a good idea imho.


Additional questions:

1. In the event SSL is not available, does anybody have recommendation for a low-end VPN like device that has clients for XP / VISTA / Windows Mobile 6.x

2. Can anybody provide me with a link to the configuration manuals?
