Powermax help

I have an old Powermax alarm system (433Mhz) and the panel has stopped working. Does anyone know where I could obtain a replacement (cannot find one in the uk) or alternatively is there another system I could use that would still allow me to use all my existing PIRs/ detectors?

It looks different from the panel that I have but I assume that so long as it is a 433 system then it should work.

Hi Paul,

Have a look at http://www.waakzaamwonen.nl/catalog/ind ... toebehoren to see if your sensors are on this page. If so, I guess it's safe to try.

They seem to be all 868Mhz systems so maybe it won't work. I've emailed them to ask.

Hi Paul,

Yes, of course. I forgot: Visonic is 868 over here, so it won't work with these standard versions... Sorry. Maybe Waakzaamwonen can get you a 433 MHz version, so good thing that you mailed them. And otherwise: did you check eBay, etc.?

In Spain they use the 433 version.
