Does somebody have the same problem as i do: The dusk/dawn sensor isn't working correctly or i miss those packets. Result is that HS doesn't update the device if it is morning or evening. I do use this sensor for my light in the kitchen (don't go on if there is light enough).
I've tried to act on multiple light sensors from different MS13E to change the status from a virtual device and use that virtual device in a event instead of one MS13E light sensor. The virtual device acts on different conditions, but this morning the device was in an ON status, because one of my MS13E light sensor didn't send out the off command (or the RFXCOM receiver didn't picked that up).
I can change the events to trigger on a received X10 command or on a changed status, but have to do that for every MS13E light sensor, while the current event is based on conditions.
Any idea's?

The sensor has 4 different settings for daytime detection. Did you check the setting?
Dusk/dawn sensor in the MS13E
Code: Select all
1 flash when the motion detector is on during the day, light/dark sensor off.
2 flashes when the motion detector is off during the day, light/dark sensor off.
3 flashes when the motion detector is on during the day, light/dark sensor on.
4 flashes when the motion detector is off during the day, light/dark sensor on.
Do you use the sensor Robert?

I do use the dusk/dawn sensors on all my MS13. Once in a while I miss the signal from one of the MS13 in the garden. This is most distant one from the RFXCom receiver. The scenario's triggered by this signal are also triggered by other events in case the signal have been missed.

Rene, do you have 'all' your dusk/dawn sensors in the event that must trigger based on dusk/dawn, or you have events with those sensors that change the value of a virtual device and than use that virtual device within other events? (like i've tried)
If you've choosen option 1, than you have different groups in your event trigger tab, right?

No I do not have all my dusk/dawn sensors combined. If the signal of the dusk/dawn sensor which triggers turning on or off the garden lights has been missed, the lights turn on 30 minutes after the calculated sunset time. In other words maybe you can find aan alternative for triggering your events which should be triggered based on dusk/dawn to be used in the situation where you missed the signal.

I use them purely informational, not as event-triggers or conditions. All set to mode "3".
For switching outside lights i use a KAKU ABST-604.
