Hi there,
This is my first post here and this forum taught me a lot about domotica. Congratulations on that.
Within 2 weeks we will be receiving the key to our new home. I am planning to install some domotica in there (gradually) and after Xanura stopped I am planning to go for Z-Wave. Currently I have a Logitech Harmony 1100 remote control with an RF extender in the AV-cabinet. I would like to install some Z-wave modules in my home and include them in several scenes with Vera. Here's the question: how can I control these scenes using my Harmony 1100? Does Vera have an RF interface (in that case I will place Vera in my AV-cabinet) or do I need an RF/IR-to-Z-wave converter? I looked at IR Trans but I'm not sure if it does what I want it to do.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you for reading.
Cheers,
Coda

Hi.
Vera does not have an IR interface, but it will work with some of them.
I don't know, if you can program your own driver to the Logitech extender. Vera is open, so it could be possible.
QEES will soon have an B&O IR to Z-Wave gateway (QEES IRGW).
I have tried an early version off it with Harmony 895. It works OK with 895. There are some functions missing, and 895 can not learn B&O IR. If Harmony 1100 can learn B&O IR, you can make all the functions work.
