Hi,
Who has tested some of the UIITEC x10 products?
http://www.uiitec.com/shop3/index.asp
Apparently they have x10 compatible wallswitches that handle 'spaarlampen' (energy saving lights), only need 2 wires, have capability to DIM etc.etc.
The switches are supposed to be around 30 euros!

I tried the UIX2210E 'fluorescent lamp switch' (so no dim and 3 wire)
It has a relay inside, the 'click' is audible but not very loud, unlike the bistable relays used in marmitek switches...
I had the switch connected to several 50W 220V halogen lamps,
when the filament on one halogen light burned out, the printed cicuit board tracks inside the switch vaporized (nice smoke effect)... so I had to buy some new ones...
note that I had the same 'exploding switch' problem when I used a marmitek AW11G and the halogen lamp filament burned out
these philips halogen lights only last 1000 hours
so I'm getting rid of the lights (I don't want to replace the switch 4 times a year)...
I purchased the 'fluorescent lamp switch' specifically to be used with led lights (I don't need dimming)
but the lights haven't arrived yet, so can't say how well they work in that configuration...
